Decorating Your Christmas Bedroom with Linen Bedlinen

A change of linens and bedding can make a huge difference in the look and feel of a room. Change your usual bed linen set to linen bedding and see the difference in the atmosphere at once. Linen is a natural fabric – and this feels even from distance.

To create festive mood with your bed linen, choose bright colored linen bed set, e.g. red, blue or mixed colors. On the other hand, if you plan decorating not only bed, but also windows, walls, maybe even setting a Christmas tree in a bedroom, some pastel or light color linen bed linen would be a wiser choice. Bed linen set in beige, cream or off white will speak of luxury, will feel luxurious but won’t mingle too much with other décor elements.

Add warmth with a wool throw

Adding a quality wool throw on a bed end or covering the bed with it will certainly induce cozy and warm atmosphere of the room.

Layer cushions selectively

For even more effect, find some cushions and dress them with linen cushion covers of different matching colors. Place them here and there around the room for extra softness and comfort.

Prepare the guest bedroom

Do not forget a guest bedroom. Holiday guests, who will be staying at your home, whether they are family or friends, will appreciate your efforts to make their bedroom more festive. Do a quick change and switch out the usual guest bedding to linen bed linen opting for ones done in rich cherry reds, bright reds, or dark greens. A bed linen set made in Christmas usual colors or print fabrics is a good idea that will please the eye and give that festive look.

Finish with a few natural details

Whether it’s your own bedroom or that of the guests, add some small yet beautiful details to finish the look. Arrange some candles, add a small Christmas tree to the dresser, prepare some linen towels, place a beautiful wool throw for extra comfort.

Keep the colours coordinated

One of the most important things to have in mind when decorating any room for Christmas, is that the colors used must coordinate. If you decide to use dark red for linen bed linen, be sure that the same red is used in the accessories and other decorations.

And lastly - by starting putting together the decor, or at least the starting to plan it, ahead of time, you will be able to make the holiday season less stressful for yourself and your guests.
