This linen was exactly the colour, weight & feel I had hoped it would be. I took a chance and didn’t order a sample because I was so pleased to have found this colour! I can’t get enough of it. Amazingly I ordered it on Christmas Day morning and it arrived on 5 January, which I didn’t expect. Great service given the holiday period. Thank you! I’m a dressmaker and a textile artist, so I will be buying more colours.
With the warp and weft in different colours (pale and natural), this 2/2 twill has a beautiful rustic texture. It feels strong but not coarse, and I am sure it will work fabulously in my project (replacing the pockets and parts of the lining on a vintage coat).
